بعد از اعلام نامز‌های اسکار، حالا نوبت منتخب منتقدان است که دیشب برگزار شد. انجمن منقدان فیلمِ برودکست بهترین فیلم را “پسربچگی” انتخاب کردند ولی برای اینکه نشان دهند تا چه اندازه به “مردپرنده‌ای” علاقه دارند، هفت جایزه از جمله بهترین فیلمنامه و بهترین گروه بازیگری را به او و دو جایزه‌ی بهترین بازیگر و بهترین بازیگر کمدی را به مایکل کیتون اهدا کردند.
