هانس زیمر و جانی گرینوود در فهرست نامزدهای اسکار

هانس زیمر و جانی گرینوود به فهرست نامزدهای آکادمی اسکار در بخش بهترین موسیقی متن، راه یافتند. زیمر با موسیقی خود برای فیلم «تلماسه» ساخته‌ی دنی ویلنوو و فیلم «زمانی برای مردن نیست» اثر کری فوکوناگا، و همچنین گرینوود با موسیقی متن فیلم «قدرت سگ» به کارگردانی جین کمپیون و فیلم «اسپنسر» ساخته‌ی پابلو لارین وارد مرحله بعدی رقابت اسکار شدند.

زیمر تا به حال ۱۱ بار نامزد دریافت جایزه اسکار شده است؛ اولین بار در سال ۱۹۹۴ به خاطر موسیقی متن «شیرشاه» و اخیرا برای درام جنگی کریستوفر نولان به نام «دانکرک». گرینوود هم اولین نامزدی خود را در سال ۲۰۱۷ با موسیقی فیلم «رشته‌ی خیال» اثر پل توماس اندرسون به دست آورد.

آکادمی علوم و هنرهای سینمایی (اسکار) دیروز فهرست نهایی خود در بخش بهترین مستند بلند، مستند کوتاه، فیلم بلند بین‌المللی، گریم و آرایش مو، طراحی صدا، جلوه‌های بصری، موسیقی و فیلم کوتاه انیمیشن را اعلام کرد. رای‌گیری نامزدها از ۲۷ ژانویه آغاز می‌شود و در اول فوریه به پایان می رسد. در نهایت، نامزدهای نود و چهارمین دوره‌ی جوایز اسکار در روز ۸ فوریه اعلام خواهد شد.
